Embee Named Top Shop for 2019

For the second year in a row, Embee Processing was named a Products Finishing Top Shop.  This award measures 45 metrics including quality, on time delivery, and inspection hours and includes shops from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

The comprehensive benchmarking survey is broken into four categories:

• Current Finishing Technology: Shops have the most up-to-date equipment and technology to make them efficient and consistent in their plating operations.
• Finishing Practices and Performances: Shops that have substantial “best practices” in areas such as testing, quality control, environmental stewardship and shop management.
• Business Strategies and Performances: Shops that have unique and profitable operation plans and business strategies that attract and keep customers.
• Training and Human Resources: How shops hire and train employees, as well as how those employees are compensated and recognized for outstanding contributions.

The 2019 Top Shops will be honored at the SUR/FIN Conference on June 4 in Chicago. In addition, this year’s Finishing Hall of Fame class will be honored, as well as the upcoming Products Finishing 40-Under-40 class.
